Mahdi and Antichrist

Mahdi and Antichrist Both appear riding a white horse.

Satan knows Jesus will return to Earth one day. In Revelation 19, Jesus returns to the Earth riding a white horse.

Revelation 19:11-13 “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God”.

As we have already covered, Satan is known as the great deceiver and be it not far from him to try and duplicate Jesus return to Earth. In Revelation 6:2 the first four of the seven seal judgments are the “Four Horseman” of which much literature, film and music have referenced. (Clint Eastwood’s Pale Rider etc.)

Revelation 6:2-8 “And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

I like to challenge many seemingly well intentioned people who like to claim we are already in the tribulation period. This is not so. The first sign that the book of Revelation has begun is the rider on the white horse, and he confirms a 7 year PEACE treaty, albeit a false peace. When the false peace fails, the next three horsemen are war, famine and death. Death, the rider on the Pale Horse, being given power over 1/4th of the population of the Earth to kill with sword, hunger, death and beasts of the Earth. This has not happened yet, according to Matthew 24:6 “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet”.

Mohammed’s Hadith Ka’b al Ahbar and other Muslim authors agree the rider on the White Horse in Revelation 6:2 (the Christian antichrist) is their Mahdi. “it is clear that this man is the Mahdi who will ride the white horse and judge by the Quran with justice and with whom will be men with marks of prostration on their foreheads”.

Muslim authors, imams and jihadists do not shudder or reject the notion of their Mahdi being the Christian antichrist. They fully accept it, even taking pride in marking their foreheads with his name (or his number? I guess we will have to wait and see…)

Personally, I think the cloth head scarves the jihadis are wearing these days are just a preview for the real show stopper which will be the antichrist’s financial system described in Revelation 13. Remember, the Beast rides the Harlot but that is going to be another study. If you can’t wait, go read the book of Revelation right now. It is the last book in the Christian New Testament. You will be blessed, it’s a promise!

I am thinking now I may be able to beat my goal of 365 days by a considerable margin. I have re-read Walid’s book up to page 84 so far. There are only 490 pages. Walid quotes the Bible a lot but I have found little scriptural reference in the Quran or Hadiths SO FAR. Hopefully my curve slows down and I actually get to do some studying here.

This is partially why i decided to blog the book, I wanted to take along hard look at Walid’s research. I am doing my duty of being a Berean. (Acts 17:11)
