Hizballah prepares “Eastern Front”
This article from Debka reveals Iran and her proxies plans for “reviving the Eastern Front which threatened Israel in the days of Saddam Hussein. In its contemporary re incarnation, the Eastern Front would be orchestrated from Tehran and link up with the armed-to-the-teeth Northern Front composed of Iran’s cohorts, Hizballah, Syria and the Palestinian rejectionists”.
Is it just me or are Hizballah and Syria are beginning to fall into the “over acheiver” status of trying to fulfill some of the more cryptic parts of the Bible like Daniel 11, Micah 5 (that identifies the antichrist as “the Assyrian”) and others?
While this isn’t a biblical fulfillment of anything yet, the mention of an “Eastern Front” does remind us that according to Revelation Chapter 16, one day, the Euphrates (Big river in Iraq) river itself will be dried up to make way for armies from the East to join the antichrist’s armies out of the North and enter Israel. Debka weekly (paid access only) is reporting that in the weeks leading up to the (Obama) end of US combat mission in Iraq on Aug. 31, long American army convoys made their way from Iraq to Israel via Jordan. In recent weeks the IDF has received 1. Thousands of military vehicles: light armored combat vehicles, command vehicles, light and heavy trucks, fuel tankers, all-terrain vehicles, communications vehicles, mobile engineering gear including portable cranes, repair shops and ambulances. 2. Armored personnel carriers. 3. Tanks. 4. Convoys loaded with masses of ordnance. 5. Millions of pieces of military equipment from the First Theatre Sustainment Command (TSC), Third Army…
There are lots of opinions on how the coming war will play out. I have read theories on how this will be a “covert war only” with no open warfare to a full blown “greater regional war”. Of course some believe it will be “Ezekiel 38” or the “Psalm 83” war or even Armageddon itself. Only one thing is certain, the nations surrounding Israel are being armed to the teeth and a coming war is all but an inevitability in the near future.
While we can only guess about the above things, we are directed with all certainty by the Psalmist (122:6) to “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem” and also by Jesus in Luke 21 that when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near. It is time to get our lives right with God and stop living for our self and flesh. Read your bibles gang. The train has left the station. The end times are already upon us.

Royal Mecca Clock in Photos
This clock dominates the skyline over Mecca now. I just found out this clock is actually 2,000 ft high so I got some pictures. This is actually the second tallest building in the world now.
All these pictures look photoshopped. This thing is just excessive.

Giant Clock in Mecca confirms Daniel 7:25 today
Islam is defying the World precisely as predicted by Daniel the prophet 2,600 years ago. GMT or Greenwich Mean Time is the world standard for aviation, shipping and all commerce. Muhammed went ahead and already changed the Calendar back in 622 A.D. Now the Islamists are challenging GMT as the Saudi Government has started ticking this new clock today in the city of Mecca, KSA. The clock is a striking resemblance to Big Ben and the Empire State Building. The launch of this new clock also marks the beginning of Ramadan across the world for Muslims.
Daniel 7:25 reads regarding the antichrist; “He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute[a] the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time”.
There is an arabic script across the length of the clock. We can see from the photos the huge “bismallah”, which in English translates “in the name of Allah”. Watch this Chuck Missler video explaining Walid Shoebats amazing discovery matching the “bismallah” with the 666 of the Book of Revelation.
The last part of Daniel 7:25 is what concerns me most. It seems to me that right after the antichrist intends to change the times and law, THEN the saints shall be given into his hand. This should be at the half way point of the 7 year tribulation period. If the half way point is THIS CLOSE then the beginning of it is even closer.
This is an amazing example of the precise, specific nature of God’s Word. Hallelujah, Praise the Lord God of Israel, Daniel, and all the saints. We all need to make sure our lives are right with God.

Welcome to Gideon’s Shofar
I am about 90% finished reading this book for the first time and have decided it is the best book on Bible Prophecy I have ever read. I am so impressed with the research and evidence that went into this book I have decided to read it a second time, and blog the entire Biblical and Quranic references found in it along with the occasional current event story that relates.
The first book on Bible prophecy I ever read was Salem Kirban’s “666”. Soon after that, I was given a 1973 edition copy of Hal Lindesy’s “Late Great Planet Earth”. Other favorites of mine were John Walvoord’s “Oil Armageddon and the Middle East Crisis”. (now updated and “Middle East Crisis” has been replaced by “Terror”, its still the same book mostly). My other old favorite was “Footsteps of the Messiah, A Sequence of Prophetical Events” by Arnold Fruchtenbaum.
Of all Biblical books, (the Bible is actually 66 books written by 40 different authors over 1,700 years time spread) my favorite is actually not the New Testament Revelation of John but the Old testament Book of Daniel.
The prophet Daniel in Chapter 12 of his book predicted many prophecies would not be understood until the final days, right before the end.
The angel Gabriel told Daniel “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
Daniel even asked of the Lord; “I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, “My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?” He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand”.
By simply applying logic to the prophecy in Daniel 12, a book like “God’s War on Terror” by Walid Shoebat should have been anticipated by the Christian world. This book fits the prophecy in Daniel like a glove. Salem Kirban, Hal Lindsey, John Walvoord, Mark Hitchcock other authors and the rest of us should all praise the Lord over the insight God has given Walid Shoebat.
During our cyber journey through the prophecies found in the Christian Holy Scriptures and the Quran, we will also become very familiar with another book in the Bible not often regarded as prophetic. The Story of Gideon in Judges is going to be a favorite stop during this adventure and it is also how I chose the name for this blog.
